Fred's Clothing offer a variety of payment options to make your life easier. You can choose from any of the different methods below by selecting the appropriate option at the checkout.
CASH/POSTAL ORDER/CHEQUE
All cheques or postal orders should be made payable to Fred's. You can even pay by cash, although this is not recommended. (Please note that sending cash in the post is entirely at your own risk, and Fred's strongly advise customers to send any cash payments by Recorded Delivery). We will process your order and send your goods as soon as the payment has cleared. Postal orders and cash orders will be sent out as soon as the payment is received, but please note that it takes 5 days for cheques to clear.

Fred's Clothing have introduced FREE DELIVERY on every order over £60! However, we are aware that some customers require their funky
wellingtons fast, therefore we do offer an Express Delivery at only £6.99. All delivery charges can be seen below.

When will my order arrive?
Standard Delivery- Order before 2pm Monday to Thursday and this will usually be delivered within 24 hours, but more commonly within 48 hours. Order on Friday and this will arrive Tuesday.
Express Delivery - Order before 2pm Monday to Thursday and this will arrive next day. Order on Friday and the order will be delivered on Monday.
Free Delivery - Order before 2pm Monday to Thursday and this will arrive within 48 hours. Order on Friday and the order will be delivered on Monday.
Please note we deliver on working days only, we do not deliver on Saturday or Sunday.
SECURITY
Fred's use industry standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology, which makes the information sent between you and us (such as credit card numbers and other personal details) fully secure from any hackers or other fraudulent opportunists who may try and intercept your details en route. Because of SSL's 128-bit encryption which is used on all ordering pages, you can be sure that shopping with us is completely safe. If your browser won't allow you to use an SSL connection, you can enable it by following these instructions:-
For Netscape Navigator go to Communicator/Tools/Security Info/Navigator and tick the 'Enable SSLv2' and 'Enable SSLv3' boxes
For Internet Explorer go to Tools/Internet Options/Advanced and tick the 'Use SSL 2.0' and 'Use SSL 3.0' boxes under the Security tab
This will enable SSL support and allow you to order on any SSL site.
An easy way to know for sure if you are currently in a secure connection is by looking for a small padlock in the status bar at the bottom of your browser's window. YOUR SHOPPING CART
You may be aware of a web term called 'Cookies'. These are little files that are stored on your computer when you visit a website to contain information about anything that website needs. At the checkout you can be sure that you are on a secure page. At the top of the page, the website address will have an 's' in the http:// part of the website address. See the following examples.

You should also check that there is a padlock in the bottom of your webpage, like this one. If this is not present then your should never enter any sensitive details about yourself or your Credit Card. You should also ensure that the security certificate has not expired, and you can do this by double-clicking on the padlock. These simple procedures will help you shop securely and cut down on fraud.
YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS
When you use the Fred's website, we gather information from you that we require to get your products sent out to you within our 24hrs delivery period. When you enter your Credit Card details they handled with the upmost care. They are sent to Fred's using our SSL 128-bit encryption system, and your card is then charged for the exact amount. Once we have charged the card, all your card details are immediately destroyed to ensure your complete security. So if you order again in the future, you will need to enter your details again. Your security is of paramount importance to us, so you can rest assured in the knowledge that your Credit Card details will be safe at all times.
YOUR ADDRESS DETAILS
As with your Credit Card details, we do not disclose your name or address to any third party. When you enter your email address at our checkout, this is simply for our communication purposes; we will not sell your email address to any mailing lists, nor will we send you any spam mail. Your details will only be held in our invoicing system, so if you do order again in the future, we will be able to get all your address details from your previous invoice.
FRED'S MAILING LIST
Our Mailing List system is in operation to inform you of all the latest special offers, new products and more. We usually send emails on a weekly basis, and will never send more than 2 emails in any 7-day period. If you would like to be a member and join our mailing list, please click here. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time using the 'unsubscribe' option on our front page, or just click here. As soon as you have done this you will be removed from our mailing list and will no longer receive emails from Fred's. If you have any further questions regarding Fred's security, please contact us.
FESTIVE ORDERING
During the festive period, we are able to accept returns upto 60 days after purchase. Should your wellingtons or clothing not fit, you can return them to us and we will exchange them for you at no extra cost for delivery.
RETURNS
Should any of our goods arrive faulty or damaged, inform us within 7 days of arrival and we will arrange a refund or replacement to suit your requirements. All refunds will be repaid within 30 days, and replacements will be despatched promptly. Returns can be returned to the address above and if our fault, all postage will be refunded.
DELIVERY
All our products are subject to availability. If the goods you order are in stock then we will deliver the order within 24hrs. However, if any product is not in stock at the time of ordering, we will try to complete the order within 5 working days. You will be kept informed regarding the predicted order delivery time. If the order is not in stock then you will be given the option to cancel the purchase. Please note that your Credit Card will not be charged until we are entirely ready to send out your order. Products are sent by Royal Mail or courier; you select which delivery you require during the order process. Also, please note that we only deliver to addresses in the UK at the present time.
GUARANTEE
Fred's offer a 30 day trial period to make sure you are happy with your purchase. (This is extended to 60 days over the festive period) If for any reason you are not satisfied, then you can send it back to our returns department in brand new condition within 14 days. Please send to:

If you return the item and all supplied documentation, we will refund the amount you paid for the product. Unfortunately, we are not able to refund your postage charge unless there is a fault with the product, or our service.
FAULTY GOODS
At Fred's, we do our best to ensure your purchases reach you in perfect condition, but occasionally you may find that an item is faulty, or it has been damaged in the mail. We will replace your product as soon as we can. You can either send the product back to us and include a covering letter explaining the fault. We will reimburse you for any substantial postage costs, or alternatively compensate you with some complimentary accessories.
WARRANTY
If for any reason one of our products stops working, you can return it to us if it is within the 3 month 'No Problem' guarantee. Copy the documents sent with the product and return the product with a covering letter to the address below:
